Wasn’t Supposed To Be Like This Wasn’t supposed to be like this The world’s changed and gone to piss Had so much hope to start anew Packed for a life I thought I knew Thanks to a friend, I got a space Thinking finally, oh this is the place Had so much hope for the human race Holding cards, won’t show my ace Sometimes the unexpected arrives Sometimes tidal waves they rise Sometimes all you can do is sigh Sometimes your dreams they go to die Sometimes balance is restored Sometimes nature cannot be ignored Blue skies and always sunny days Found me a job that finally pays Was making changes to my old ways Traded all for a life of play You never know when things’ll go to shit Every time I think I’m at the end of my wit The world comes and tells me to sit With all these thoughts just for a bit Sometimes the unexpected arrives Sometimes tidal waves they rise Sometimes all you can do is sigh Sometimes your dreams they go to die Sometimes balance is restored Sometimes nature cannot be ignored

Correction 04:43
Correction We skipped the line and never looked back Kept on destroying with no recollect Never thinking how this would come back Now we’re face to face, stack to stack. They take a little, then a little bit more You never noticed because you were too poor Scraping the bottom of this middle-class war Never realizing the middle was no more With the dead bodies of the unknown We ignored all the signs that were shown We’re all victims of a future unintended We beg for relief, our lives upended. This is a correction Mother Nature puttin’ us on our knees A new direction Helping each other, fight off our disease Can’t look the beast straight in the eye Tail between our legs, and believing the lie Giving up our minds, we don’t even to try Crawling across the floor, just waiting to die They take a little, then a little bit more You never noticed because you were too poor Scraping the bottom of this middle-class war Never realizing the middle was no more With the dead bodies of the unknown We ignored all the signs that were shown We’re all victims of a future unintended We beg for relief, our lives upended. This is a correction Mother Nature puttin’ us on our knees A new direction Helping each other, fight off our disease

Navigating The Waters Navigating the waters in this confusing time Listening for the rhythm and trying to catch the rhyme When all you have is confusion and missed signs A soulless instigator shouting recycled lines Swimming thru channels of truth and lies Try not fall victim to these digital spies Waiting on the outskirts to corrupt your eyes Feeding your mind with ideas to try on for size How stupid have we become? By letting in the wolves For undoing all that we’ve done Feel how the evil pulls See how far we’ll go Oh, but I don’t want to know... Sinking in rough currents, trying not to drown In the musings of a madman, this orange clown While the death count grows, you wear a permanent frown As loved ones you’d hope to see, are no longer around Floating to the surface, our last breath exhales Families in mourning, halls filled with cries and wails How when a system meant to protect us, utterly fails By a clueless captain trying to bleed wind from the sails How stupid have we become? By letting in the wolves For undoing all that we’ve done Feel how the evil pulls See how far we’ll go Oh, but I don’t want to know... See how far we’ll go Oh, but I don’t want to know No, I don’t want to know... (we can change, we can grow, we can know and know)

Pyrrhic 03:27
Pyrrhic You would not believe What he said This time Oh, not again Sometimes the words He says Are landmines Placed on the floor They get under skin They raise My blood The pressure boils We’re run, run, running, running out of time Slow motion train-wreck plowing down the line No matter how far, how hard we fight It always seems like we lose the light What can we do This time It feels All hope is lost They don’t relent Or recoil Their minds All filled with hate We’re fighting a war On truth This world Has never seen We’re run, run, running, running out of time Slow motion trainwreck plowing down the line No matter how far, how hard we fight It always seems like we lose the light Would it be at too great of a cost When looking back at all that was lost This pyrrhic notion is no victory at all Your pathetic empire won’t stand tall He’s on one again He baits And waits Dog whistles blows We’re run, run, running, running out of time Slow motion trainwreck plowing down the line No matter how far, how hard we fight It always seems like we lose the light

Uncertainty 04:48
Treading lightly Don’t wake the baby Level off, how? That’s not my pay grade Unfurl your flag now And begin to wave Wanting freedom At others expense Occupational Bio-terror resistancé We wear the colors Of false pretense This un-certainty Is all in your head If you believe it Then you’re already dead Load ‘em up, boys! We need attention We’ll mock the victims And sow dissension But Father learned us, and Mom’s condescension We need things now when We becomes me Oh, how demanding To be set free Such intransigence They’ll never agree This un-certainty Is all in your head If you believe it Then you’re already dead This false patriotism Has gotten out of hand So take no refuge here In this scoundrel land This un-certainty Is all in your head If you believe it Then you’re already dead This blind loyalty Has gotten out of hand So take no refuge here In this scoundrel land

Cornered Animal Betrayal from a close friend Seems like a logical trend Keeping ill company A murderous symphony Of the bleeding heart Of tearing (us) apart What (the fuck) did you expect? Strapped a bomb to my chest Stepped back and watched the fireworks display When left with no manual Like a cornered animal I’m bound to explode This hurt will certainly unload Screaming in my face My dignity defaced Fingers pointed at me But it’s what’s inside, you see Of a self-projection Of your life’s rejection What (the fuck) did you expect? Strapped a bomb to my chest Stepped back and watched the fireworks display When left with no manual Like a cornered animal I’m bound to explode This hurt will certainly unload Stepped back and watched the fireworks display Stepped back and watched the fireworks display Stepped back and watched the fireworks display Stepped back and watched the fireworks display Stepped back and watched the fireworks display Stepped back and watched the fireworks display

Dizzy 04:01
Dizzy I want It to Be true For you Whatever Makes you Happy Do it I Won’t Stand in Your way As long It does Not harm My life Or others You could swim the ocean and still end up Drowning And you could spin in circles and still end up Dizzy You could stand inside a fire and still end up Burning Oh, you could believe in anything and still end up Crazy How does One get So far Ahead Only To be Found so Foolish Living Each day Of your Sad life Trusting Your life With these False gods You could swim the ocean and still end up Drowning And you could spin in circles and still end up Dizzy You could stand inside a fire and still end up Burning Oh, you could believe in anything and still end up Crazy You could swim the ocean and still end up Drowning And you could spin in circles and still end up Dizzy You could stand inside a fire and still end up Burning Oh, you could believe in anything and still end up Crazy

It’s All Right Now I fell in love With a feeling No telling What to believe in Took a chance On the world Met a girl And fell in love I fell on down From the ceiling I lost all hope when You caught me reeling Took a dive In the underworld Held on a rope That fell on down It’s all right now It’s all right now It’s all right now It’s all... right... now I climbed on out To the living Just when I thought I was at the beginning Took a look Into the mirror No second glances So I climbed on out I searched within And heard it singing A heart’s beat While your ears are ringing Turned it around When no one was looking Content alone As I searched within It’s all right now It’s all right now It’s all right now It’s all... right... now “You are in the present. There is no other place you need to be” I fell in love With a feeling It’s all right now It’s all right now It’s all right now It’s all... right... now

Working On Myself Working on myself All the time Working on myself I’ve got the time Working on myself Given all the signs Working on myself As only I can I can Come thru with great intentions Come out with strong relations Come see you’re in no danger Of changing yourself for good Working on myself One day at a time Working on myself And laughing all the same Working from myself I’ve heard all these rhymes Working on myself As only I can I can Come thru with great intentions Come out with strong relations Come see you’re in no danger Of changing yourself for good

Sorting Thru The Rubble Elegance of night The absence of white Lights blinding my sight Try to pick a fight Or flight Goodnight Try to honor thee But no one can see What justice should be Freedom ain’t so free So take a knee For Country It all got messy Got out of control Don’t know what to... Don’t know what to do Anymore... Looking in the mirror Studying all the lines Sorting thru the rubble Picking up myself Getting lost out here Losing all my fear Shedding not a tear New beliefs adhere So clear I’ll steer It all got messy Got out of control Don’t know what to... Don’t know what to do Anymore... Looking in the mirror Studying all the lines Sorting thru the rubble Picking up myself

Expiration 05:12
Expiration You can stray off the beaten path You can stay with a wounded heart You can try to make it right You can always give them a fight You can journey off on your own You can wander alone at night You can wonder about the moon You can ponder up at the stars Death is the thief of complacency, with no regard Shaken you from off the ground that, you once knew Like an uninvited guest, staying, never to leave An expiration is sometimes, hard to believe You can whisper to the trees You can be brought to your knees You can scream into the wind You can live life like a fool You can pray to the morning light You can live a life of sin You can question how it all began You can sit and live in fear Death is the thief of complacency, with no regard Shaken you from off the ground that, you once knew Like an uninvited guest, staying, never to leave An expiration is sometimes, hard to believe Oh-oh-oh-oh oh oh-oh-oh-ohh ohhhh Death is the thief of complacency, with no regard Shaken you from off the ground that, you once knew Like an uninvited guest, staying, never to leave An expiration is sometimes, hard to believe

Moving pictures of the past seep in thru my mind Showing me places that I would most like to find Sharing moments that always play on rewind A kid, so high in the skies, untethered and free Not a care in the world, nothing here to stop me Innocence unbridled, here in this world you can be But all these years, they’ve gone past Lost time, no way to make them last This feeling, deep within, a burning star Sinking deeper, then shooting out so far Calendar pages recall memories of time well spent How long it’s now been, how fast it all went Sitting down, the room spins vividly, off you are sent Holding court now, judgement is being thrown at you You didn’t do all the things that you were to do You bring up your witness to show you’ve remained true But all these years, they’ve gone off track Lost time, no way to get them back This feeling, deep within, a burning sun Sinking deeper, then shooting off like a gun But all these years, they’ve gone past Lost time, no way to make them last This feeling, deep within, a burning star Sinking deeper, then shooting, out so far Making up for lost time Making up for lost time Making up for lost time...

It Was A Good Run You got real far Came so close But now it’s over It was a good run You got it done Took a big chance But now it’s over It was a good run It was a good run You got it done Got real far But now it’s over You got it done Got real far But now it’s over It was a good run And there’s no fault
In giving up When you know
You’ve had enough
There’s no loss In letting go When your heart Tells you so.. You got it done Came real far But now it’s over It was a good run You got real far Came so close But now it’s over It was a good run You damn well tried You came so close But now it’s over It was a good run You nearly died But you survived But now it’s over It was a good run And there’s no fault
In giving up When you know
 You’ve had enough
There’s no loss In letting go When your heart Tells you so.. You got real far Came so close But now it’s over It was a good run It was a good run

There’s Still So Much Left To Do There’s a rolling hill ahead There’s a green grass to be laid There’s a mountain yet to climb There’s an ocean left to surf There’s a a dream left to pursue There’s a gift inside of you There’s a love burning so bright There’s so much worth of this sight There’s a child of yours to hold There’s a bond you’ll grow to know There’s a wish you made come true There’s a pride beaming from you There’s an open heart for you There’s a rested mind and soul There’s so much you’ll never know There’s a body to grow old There’s a train off in the night There’s a car with one headlight There’s a field of stars to gaze There’s a smallness in this world There’s a valley still to cross There’s a stream covered in moss There’s a voice calling to you There’s still so much left to do

about

Hi friends and hopefully fans! I'm excited to finally release my latest album titled Pándēmos. It's been a challenging time for all of us this year as we grapple with so much uncertainty and unclear messaging and any real indication of a helpful plan forward. This pandemic-themed album is a glimpse inside what it's like living thru an unreal moment in history.

Here's 15 brand new tracks for you to digest as we head into the new year. Let's hope it's a better one!

Thanks for listening!
Mario Di Sandro

Never thought we'd live thru a pandemic, but here we are... Pándēmos, the title of this album, is of an early Greek origin referring to a pandemic, or of the common people.
